Thence comes it that my name receives a brand,
And almost thence my nature is subdued
To what it works in, like the Dyer’s hand.

Get To Know Our Napa Valley Wines
At Dyer Straits Wine Co., we have a singular focus. For two decades, we have been working the vineyard and making the wine from our 2.3 acre vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot- the wine is literally “made in the vineyard”.
Located in Cabernet Country, our vines send down roots deep into volcanic soils producing wines known for their concentration, intensity, and ageability. We handcraft the wine following long established, classical methods and produce less than 300 cases a year.

Our Farming Methods Are Sustainable, We Use Only Organic Sprays To Prevent Mildew, And Weed Whackers Instead Of Herbicide- We Live Here After All.
We planted Dyer vineyard in 1993 on a site where volcanic gravel mingles with large volcanic boulders that slid from the ridge above thousands of years ago. The 2.3 acres of vines are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
