Cabernet Franc 2018
Dyer Wines’ Cabernet Franc Wine
Cabernet Franc has been an important varietal at Dyer Vineyard since our first vintage. It flourishes in our volcanic Diamond Mountain soils making a wine that is both mineral, aromatic and lush with softer tannins than the famed tannins of Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc has been critical in our blends and, since 2013, we have bottled a small amount of 100% Cabernet Franc. 2018 Dyer Vineyard Cabernet Franc is our current vintage.

What One Critic Says…
Dyer’s 2018 Cabernet Franc is aromatic and gracious, with striking inner perfume and captivating balance. Crushed red berries, mint, sage, blood orange and rose petal are beautifully lifted in the glass. Medium in body, gracious and full of character, the Dyer Franc is a total knock out. The 2018 is not an obvious wine, but it will delight readers who appreciate finesse.

Our Notes Read…
High-tone, floral notes of violets and graphite layer with savory notes of sage and rosemary. A full bodied Cabernet Franc, structured and lush.
